Correction Procedure

Correction procedure begins when a word or a phrase is selected in the dictation window and Correct this is said. Selected text is played back and the list of alternatives appears:

Here you can select an alternative by the mouse or saying Number one, Number two, etc.
Also, you can type a suitable text and say Accept this. Original text in the dictation window will be replaced.
Cancel correction command cancels correction and closes the list of alternatives.

Notes:

• Only dictated text can be corrected.
• Once corrected, a text fragment will be unavailable for further corrections.
• If the speech engine rejects typed text, original fragment will not be replaced.
• Try not to click source window during correction: this keeps your selection in place. Otherwise, replacement will be done at the cursor position.
