Free Dictation

You can dictate text into ANY Windows application by clicking your mouse where you want it to begin typing and saying Begin dictation. To end, say Stop dictation.

Always correct misunderstood phrases after dictation is completed just highlight misunderstood phrase by mouse and say Correct this.

You are able to dictate dates, dollar amounts, numbers, etc. They will be automatically formatted.
However, some unusual names may not be recognized properly, because speech engine does not have them in its vocabulary.

To dictate punctuation marks, make a pause and say: Comma, Period, Exclamation point, Question mark, Dash, Slash, Colon, Semicolon, Percent sign, Number sign, Dollar sign, Open quote, Close quote, Open parenthesis, Close parenthesis, Open bracket, Close bracket, Open brace, Close brace, Apostrophe-S.

There are special formatting macros:

New line - starts dictation from a new line.
New paragraph - starts dictation from a new paragraph skipping one empty line.
Capital letter - makes capital the first letter of the next word.
Lowercase and Uppercase - shift the next word to lower or upper case.
Space bar - inserts an additional space.
No space - prevents space insertion.
Double zero - returns 00.
Triple zero - returns 000.
